score doesn't tell the story Cherokee was was 48-10 then subbed out. Evans and mintz looked great and the line played very well. Congrats to the boys and coaches for a great win in a tough rivalry

They still have a few rough patches to work on, but looked great for the second game. Especially against Choctaw which is usally a one score game!

So HAPPY for Kent Briggs and his staff. If WCU had given Kent the resources they've given both Wagner and Speir, Kent may have brought WCU a couple of SoCon titles by now. It is what it is. Hoping to come up for at least 1 Braves home game in 2017. Give em hell Cherokee! GO CATS!

Briggs got these young men on their "A" game!! They just toyed with Choctaw. Too much firepower on offense! And a great line to make it happen!

Go Braves!!

It was good to have Straughan and Davis back as well this helped tremendously. Locust had an exceptional game

Did yunz pick up anymore of there players?
C'mon BK lets not hash this out anymore. Tullos is gone and so are the Mcmillians. There are a few Seminole girls still there but I believe the influx has died down. The transfer rule has limited the jumping teams as far as adjacent counties. And we (R'ville) have had our share of helpful transfers but most have had some type of family connection to the town. That is the only detraction I will state and there is some debate I am sure on that. But much like Bradley's case whose father is a lifetime resident of Robbinsville there is some precedence. Let's just await the season and hopefully it'll be two healthy teams facing each other @ Cherokee this year.
