BAZATA from Howells starting, FANT contributing. They would add value to our roster.

Conversely you have Micah Kreikmeier, John Leverson, Bronson Marsh, Tyler Evans, David Sutton and Luke Gifford, all Nebraska kids in the last few years that didn't pan out. Things just work out that way some times. With how colleges teams market themselves and how every team is on TV every wee, kids in Nebraska are exposed to a broader market than they were 10 - 15 plus years ago.

Are Tony Moeaki, Scott Chandler, Allen Reisner still around?
No. All are out of the NFL.

C.J. Fiedorowicz, Brandon Myers and Henry Krieger-Coble says you're welcome.

CJ Fiedorowicz is the ONLY guy that is any good between all 3 active players in the NFL.

Obviously Miami is TE U, but Iowa isn't even 2nd or 3rd. ND is easily 2nd with Eifert, Rudolph, Niklas, & Koyack all in the league. Eifert & Rudolph are both better than CJ (your best btw).

Nebraska didn't initially want Fant as a tight end is what I thought I remember. Didn't they want him to play at another position and that's why he leaned Iowa?

Dallas Clark and Jonathan Hayes say lets look at stats.
Jonathan Hayes was a beast, but he was an OT with unusually good speed and a high jersey number. He averaged 0.8 catches per game in his NFL career.

I would say the best schools lately of producing good NFL TE's continually are:

Notre Dame
Iowa
Miami

Jonathan Hayes has been out of the league for 21 years and Dallas Clark for 4 years.

Huskers have 4 RBs currently on NFL rosters & have put in countless other RBs in the NFL in the past but no one (including ourselves) are calling us RB U. Matter of fact, Newby is going to be the first in a long time RB starter (consistently a starter I mean) @ NU that wont make an NFL roster.

Outside of Marlon Lucky, basically everyone that has consistently started @ NU @ RB made the NFL. But still don't call us RB-U. That's USC I am guessing or Bama probably currently.
