All championships were handed out by polls, and not the NCAA.<div>

</div><div>Obviously, those are all pretty good athletic programs, and it's not like we have a lot to be ashamed of by being in that group...</div>

Of course, the BCS just started in 1998, so that narrows it down to 10 teams in football (USC's was revoked, and LSU and Florida both have 2).

For what it's worth Baylor won team titles in men's tennis in '07 (I think) and women's bball in '05. Not big revenue sports, but BU has won titles in the BCS era.

If we were as arrogant and suffered from small penis syndrome like TSUN, then we would claim 1940 and 1941....

ole miss's football "championships" count about as much as their NC in partying.

They count as much as anyone else's titles. ALL football titles are BS, even the BCS ones.

Call me when someone wins a playoff. Until then, it's an opinion title, even if it's a BCS title.

A buddy of mine has the ring to "prove" it. Of the 2 major polls back then, one awarded it to Tech, the other to Nebraska, I think.
