Really? You really think losing a starting guard/wing with length that could shoot and another guard/wing that could defend didnt hurt us? Come the hell on.
Sure, Stewart and Hansbrough stepped in and replaced them well, but who then replaced where Stewart and Hans had been? Think.
Depth is jawed about all the time here, yet this is a perfect example of how lack of depth hurt. Not only lack of depth, but lack of QUALITY depth.
We missed their experience. We missed their abilities that other players couldnt replicate as consistently, if at all.
Benock and Ravern came in for massive minutes because of the depth issue. Ravern was on the court of all of 6 minutes each game. Remember his play?...redshirt was in order, but he was used. Benock was in the same boat.
And that year was when Turner was a liability except for his when he gothis hands in the passing lanes for a steal or two.
Oh, and this was when Stewart was in his soph slump.
The Delks would have helped a lot with depth, defense, depth, offense, and depth.
They may have not been happy and ive read they had attitude problems(though i remember reading that they were also always first to team meetings and walkthrus), so obviously me saying they would have helped is not counting their discontent.
