Be HONEST, are you happy about beating Indiana?

You made backhanded comments about being glad we won that would make anyone suspicious of whether that's really true, especially since 99% of your posts were about denigrating our team, program, coaches, etc. I wanted Flood gone for the email scandal and loss of team discipline, but you don't see me saying that with every post or any post really - now's not the time for that, whih you simply don't seem to get. You can continue to spout negative crap after our best comeback win in effing 394 years and you'll continue to be viewed as a dbag for making such ridiculous posts. Your call.
We disagree, no need for name calling. Our best come back in 394 years? We've been playing college football for 394 years, lol...we've had a 25 point comeback against a team just as bad as Indiana can you guess who it was?

Yeah bc we are going to Waltz in to the big ten eaat division and just run it. National titles on deck. Anything less is unacceptable. Now I'm laughing. Go root for bama or OSU man.
Ummm, nobody said that but you, big guy.

Yes, our best comeback ever. We had one less quarter for this comeback than last year's, which is much harder to do.

I wonder if osu is glad they barely beat iu 2 weeks ago. I wonder if msu is glad they barely beat ru and Purdue. Simple answer. Yes of course. Wins are always good and in incredible fashion? Yea it's pretty simple.

I am happy that our team had the heart and ability to turn things around and overcome a 25 point deficit in 20 minutes on the road against a team that was favored by around a touchdown.

I am happy that our QB started showing the ability stretch the field to more targets than just Carroo. That will make us so much more dangerous going forward.

I am happy that we now have multiple RB that have shown they can dominate agains a Power 5 team and grab chunks of yards.

I am happy that we are cleaning up the dumb penalties. No offsides, no illegal procedures, only one holding call.

I am happy to see our young secondary made some big plays late in the game to get things moving. Wharton made an awesome pick and also swatted a ball away on third and long. Cioffi doing his thing. I am hopeful that we made some defensive adjustments late in the game that helped turn it around.

I am happy for Federico that he was able to hit the game winner after must have felt like a nightmare to him and the kicking team. I believe we will tighten that up during practice this week.

I am happy our bowl chances are much better with an "almost loss" than they would be with an actual loss.

What's it called when you almost lose? Oh yeah. That's called a WIN!

I'm sure Michigan State fans are crying today because the ALMOST lost to Michigan.

There, I fixed the thread title. Haha

That changes the gist of just about every followup post and now makes it appear as though many posters unnecessarily brought up the fact that we almost lost.

Unexpected and uncalled for misuse of your moderator status.

Please change the thread title back to the original.

Thanks.

Ummm, nobody said that but you, big guy.

You are policing the board and trolling other posters based solely on their opinions. If people are happy about the win, why attack them? This is why people continue to respond to you with personal attacks. You are like a gnat who keeps buzzing their ears.

Probably true, but a big improvement!

Absolutely i'm happy. If anyone is unhappy about the team winning ..why do you follow or watch the team? You have to be a pretty miserable person. It also indicates someone who takes a lot for granted and assumes RU should win certain games. There are no certain wins ....especially in the conference they are playing in now.

Excellent perspective. The single most important point you made is that our freshman DB's made some critical plays and are getting better every week. Austin and Hester both have huge upsides and Wharton is solid. Next years secondary looks to be solid, deep and experienced with everyone back.

Really people? A win is a win. Given this season trajectory this is a HUGE win to become bowl eligible.

Can't Rutgers fans be happy? WTF is wrong with the fan base?

Yes I am happy we beat Indiana we areally not in the crappie BE OR AAC. We are in the B1G any team can beat any team. Am I happy the way our defense is playing absolutely not but they played big the last few drives. We need to get pressure on the opposing QBS and we are not. We need to be able play better in the defensive backfield make that much better in the defensive backfield

I would have been happier with a 38-17 win. Hate to say it but Rutgers didn't win this game. Indiana and it's coaching lost it.

I don't understand this question. Wouldn't the alternative be kind of F'd up?

Guys, which of you do not understand that we are NOT on par with OSU, MSU and now Mich? Our current team is more on par with Md, Indy and possibly PSU as long as Franklin is their field manager.

We "almost won" but lost against a top 10 team
We "almost lost" but won against a peer team who is actually pretty good with Sudfeld.

We have a lot to work on and fix. One thing we do not have to fix is the heart these kids play with. Christ- Carroo goes out and let's be honest, he was our only weapon at the time. Pattan Grant Aggs and Martin step in for him. We lost a freshman starting CB who has been our best cover guy. Hell, we have already started to leave him on an island. And we have to replace him with another freshman who has almost 0 experience against this offense. He got burnt, but then settled down.
I can't see anyway we can keep OSU close next week. So, I am not going to freak out if they gash us by 20. But these young kids have peaked my interest enough that I am still going to cheer the hell out of them and hope for the damn win and will not give up on them. I think if these young kids keep improving, we have a shot to steal a game this year and win the two we all feel we will be favored in.

I am not happy with the full 60 minutes but hell to F yes, I am happy with the win.

Short answer? Yes.
Long answer? Yes. I have better things to do with my life than being miserable over something like this.

Let's see:
A P5 win!
A B1G win!
A road win!
A come from behind win on the opponents Homecoming!!!

Really? WTF kind of stupid question is that?

LOL. That wasn't the OP's original question.

For the record, Moderator King High changed the original question posed in the title of the post to fit his world view, thus distorting the meaning and intent of almost every subsequent post.

There's a simple answer to this simple question.
Considering Rutgers was a touchdown underdog on the road against a good Big Ten school, YES! On top of that the offense is really breaking out. Yes the defense got shredded. But they got key interceptions late and the O stepped up and made it happen

Did Rutgers put a check mark in the win column? OK, then. I'm happy we beat Indiana. I'm happy whenever we put another one in the win column. I was impressed with their moxie in battling Michigan State and in coming back from the dead against Indiana.

I'm happy for any conference win. Flood has this prigeam in right direction albeit slow. There has been hiccups and missteps but I think the train is moving now steady ahead. I say we pop Wisconsin and/or Nebraska.

I get it, football is a game of inches...so when you almost win it's the same as winning, and when the team you almost won against wins against any other team that counts as a win for us. Thank you for solving the riddle of my life.

The new Nike slogan: JUST ALMOST DO IT....sponsored by Rutgers Football, lol.
