I saw where they are expecting Tony Conner's (south panola safety) older brother to transfer from a juco to olemiss. Didn't they sign a kid from ga. last year whose brother was going to be the top rated DE coming out this year. Anyone seeing a trend here?

having Ward's brother there as a walk-on already is a big plus for them as basically I'm sure they have already offered to put the brother on full scholarship if Channing signs on.

Can't blame them for trying.

However, I would suggest to the 5* conner that playing with his brother may be great but there is nothing like competing against him.

on the way to the game last night, Cross was questioning Ole Miss' Scout guy who wasn't Fancy, it was the other guy. He said if he had to guess today he says State leads on Ward. Cross had no further questions...

As far as I am concerned they can have the South Panola kids. If they want to use a scholarship to get a marginal player so they can hopefully get his brother than by all meansgo for it. Also, I didnt want to go to the same school as my brother. We get along fine, just wanted my own path.
