Will be interesting to see what the defense looks like on Friday.

Even my wife wondered why the Bears were throwing the ball on the 3rd down play of their final possession. Too cute and they deserved to lose after that.

I honestly don't hate it. A first down ends the game and they were going for it. Better than the usual run up the middle 3 times and punt. Pittsburgh just had the right call on for that play, Williams rolls out and has the option to run or pass, Steelers just happened to blitz from that side.

Steelers very good at winning 50/50 games over the years. First time in a while that a Bears staff could out coach Tomlin

That's only when it's in Pittsburgh. They said during the game that coming into today the Steelers are 1-12 all time when playing in Chicago.

The 2025 Chicago Bears are the only team in history who have had to apologize for their record.
Not true at all. I think all fan bases are like this, you are just focusing on your team. I have good friends who are Packers fans and the Packers win every year and all they do is piss and moan about how terrible they are. Same can be said for the couple Steelers fans I know. Tomlin has had them in the playoffs every year and they complain that it doesn't matter because they always lose in the first round.

As an old geezer, I must be reverting back to the 1960s when Ohio State"s Woody Hayes and Texas' Darrell Royal, first stated and popularized, respectively, the philosophy, "Three things can happen on a pass play and two of them are bad." These words from an original "three yards and a cloud of dust" guy and the other from one who brought wishbone offense to the big stage.

I don't disagree, but it was nice to see them at least try to go for it and end the game.

You don't know Chiefs fans. They love that team win or lose and rarely do they speak ill of their team. I have been around them for decades.

I agree with you. There are a lot of teams that would have thrown the ball in that situation. I like the idea of Johnson have faith in his QB to call for a pass.

I'm not talking about the fan base, per SE, but I am also including the national media as well.

Side Note: Any grammarians want to explain was the "SE" in per SE was capitalized? Unless that is an autocorrect for thinking I was abbreviating South Elgin.

Last two possessions in Phllly territory with it being 2nd & 3, respectively. BJ decides to throw the damn ball twice and no yards.

Then with 2nd & 1, he calls for another pathetic passing play, and there's an interception.

Why can't he call a damn running play when it's 2nd & short? And you're running the ball great today.

Your 9-3 Bears just beat the defending Super Bowl Champions and 8-3 (coming in to today) Eagles. We got Jaylon Johnson and Kyler Gordon back today. We need to get our injured LB’s back. We need Caleb to heed the advice of Joe Maddon and “try not to suck”. And you know…. Maybe just maybe…..

I just saw the video of him taking off his shirt and leading the team in his chant from his high school days. I’ve gotta say he seems to have his guys playing hard and having fun.
Just watched that as well. He has them believing and buying in.
