I predicted Iowa would win 27-20. After watching the game, NU would have won easily if Armstrong didn't have such a disastrous game. The difference was the QB's. Ours made mistake after mistake. Their's didn't necessarily have a good game - he just didn't make several game-changing errors.
Maybe Iowa's defensive positioning had something to do with the interceptions. Plus, the game is played in a way that reflects the situation. A team is not going to open it up and risk mistakes when they are consistently up two scores. Dillusional Nebraska fans.
You are the definition of delusion. You have watched your team all year and expected different. Reality came home this is Nebraska football.I really thought we'd roll to around a 20 point win... 44-24. I could sit here and explain away how "that game" was there all night long. But Iowa played the game they're know for and won.

I figured we would see the Riley we have seen throughout his entire coaching career. One major upset, high rate of penalties, head-scratching play calling/game management, and add in the turnover machine we have built and you have it. He didn't quite achieve his historical .500 mark in wins and losses, but its only his first year, he's got time to build up to that solid level of achievement.I thought that it would be a close game and about 38-35 with NU winning...
you stated you were 95% confident Nebraska would win and then went further declaring Nebraska would win by 3 TDs ... you have no objectivity when it comes to Neb football
for people to say that we will win if Tommy makes good decisions and takes care of the ball seemingly haven't watched a single game Tommy has played during his career ... in fact the odds were closer to 95% that Tommy wouldn't make good decisions or take care of the ball
all of those declaring how Nebraska would handily beat Iowa are incapable of making any type of objective evaluation when it comes to Nebraska football .. same people who can't believe their 5 foot 4 120 pound son isn't the starting QB on the football team claiming the coach doesn't know anything about the game

Yet we statistically dominated the fourth ranked team. But you go ahead and pound your chest and dance over Husker football. And don't give me any ******** about it being me. I'm standing up for the state i love. I'm not going to cast it aside to be a bandwagon jumper or trash the staff. If you are a Nebraska fan you should be ashamed of yourself. If you're just a part time iowa transplant then kiss my *** and take your act out east.
you frankly have lost your mind and give all Nebraska fans a bad name by reinforcing all the myopic stereotypes other fanbases have about us
Is your man cave decked out in black and gold??? Come on you can admit it???
If we played one of our best games, we would win. We didn't...and...we didn't. Not a shocking loss to a top 10 team.I thought that it would be a close game and about 38-35 with NU winning...
I thought we would win, I didn't think the bad Tommy would hang around for so long.
We did not play well, got some horrible calls...from the refs and our coaches, had a player ejected and still played the # 4 in the country down to the wire.
I believe a lot of us thought NU would win.

no problem with people making a reasonable assessment .. Nebraska certainly had a decent chance .. I think I predicted 60/40 in favor of Iowa
but predicting Nebraska will win with a rational argument is much different than claiming with 95% certainty that Neb will win ... or claiming Neb will win by > 3 TDs and then spewing venom at anyone who might disagree ... those type of predictions are pathologic
You do realize Iowa dropped 7 and sometimes 8 into coverage, and didn't let receivers get behind them. Those picks weren't by accident. Too many of us miss what really goes on out thereI predicted Iowa would win 27-20. After watching the game, NU would have won easily if Armstrong didn't have such a disastrous game.
