Besides the michael jordan effect...what reason did basketball as a sport COMPLETELY abandon
the idea that jumping off your non pivot foot, is traveling?
I see so many players do it that wouldnt be able to score at all if not allowed.
To me, It's compromised the game.
Hell, even espn made fun of the idea years ago with a 'we are the world' type commercial called "dont walk".
Is there no hope for the sport to return to one of it's foundational rules to make it better?
Or does everyone like the 'extra step' game of today?
