i couldnt agree that he is one of the best in the state. But lets do a history lesson. Mark Heil was a assistant for Bob Paroli at DB back in the late 80's. Ray Oxendine former principle at West Robeson went and found Coach Heil. Coach Heil's first taste of Robeson County was a Lumbee Homecoming well everyone gave him open arms and hugs and kisses! now they gave him the kiss my ***!
So if Mark Heil is the father of West Robeson/PS football then the grandfathers are Bob Paroli and Ray Oxendine!!!!

I have personally met and talked with Coach Bob Parolli but of course I never met Mr. Ray Oxendine.

i seen him at the annual lumbee homecoming 5k. he was cheering for his son in law and grandsons. His son in law is a former seal.
I think he would say like he always says "Brooks" while rubbing his face with a hand on my shoulder "You cant expect people to make the right decision all the time and you can expect them to make dumb ones from time to time"

Shelby's Lance Ware has been the head coach at Shelby for 4 seasons, has been to 3 Western Finals winning two, and has been to 2 State Championships winning both. 50% chance of winning a State Championship with him....His tenure at head coach hasn't been very long but with the talent that is coming to Shelby over the next several years, he has a legitimate shot of winning several more over the next several seasons!
