Individual (Sawyer from Ole Miss, CB Gaines from Missouri, SS Moore from UT???) and Secondary as a whole. I'm struggling to come up with any above average corners Bama may have faced so far this season. Statistically Michigan is the best Secondary they have faced. Considering I've only watched one Michigan game this season those stats mean nothing to me. Toss out the Missouri game as well considering the weather that led to a very evenly balanced attack by Bama with 21 pass att. and 47 rush att. I'm starting to get a little wooly the more and more I look into the lack of secondary they've seen this year. What say you?

Michigan, B1G..., saw Ohio St is ranked 9th and PSU is a 1 point favorite against them.

Carry on...

Theory is solid...But you are forgetting one key aspect...

They face(what we will call) the 2nd best secondary in the country each and every day in practice, including a corner that is basically equal to Banks(Milliner). That said, I believe we can pick on Belue a little bit, and I don't think he is as good as Slay at the other corner spot as of right now...

Where we will gash them is in the short passing game with TEs and RBs... not on the outside...

Very true. McCarron and Russell have both benefited from being forced to practice against the best every day. I'm not even talking about our offense, we have our hands full on saturday, points will be at a premium. The point that I poorly attempted to make is that we will be the first team they've faced who has two CB's talented enough to play man allowing us to completely sell out on the run.

Our D-line is clearly out manned by their All-pro O-line, but Slay and Banks allow us to stack that box and hopefully shut down lacy and yeldon. If we get some good stops on 1st/2nd down and force them to throw we'll get our picks.

First team to 21 wins.

Somebody that watched the entire UT vs UAT

Might can help me bc I mostly just saw the highlights... But it seems the long passes that went for tds or big gains there wasn't a UT defender within 5-10 yards of a UAT receiver. I'm assuming busted coverage. It looked horrible on UTs part, but wonder if it could have been good offensive scheming on UATs part. Then again I haven't had chance to watch whole game but my thoughts were they certainly didn't get tested against UTs secondary
