Right now, I have passes for lots 11 and 17. While they're close to our tailgating areas, it's an absolute nightmare getting out of those lots. And I'm not talking about the "oh, just wait until an hour after the game and you'll be fine" type thing. I did that following one of our games last year and we sat in standstill traffic in lot 11 for another 45 minutes.

So anyway, what would you guys say are the best lots to get out of following a game? I understand that there's going to be some traffic everywhere and I can handle that, but having to sit around for nearly 2 hours is crazy. Thanks

we always parked on the spray painted parking on the ramps for hw 12 right by the Hump and Dudy Noble. Its a little of a walk, but you can get right back to your car and get right on the hwy and be on your way.

The lot is at the corner of Hardy and Lee. Very easy to get into for me since I am coming from Alabama and take East Lee right to the lot.
However after the game instead of going back down E Lee, for some reason, they turn you back toward the stadium and we have to turn near at the YMCA building.
It took us over 1 hour to get back onto 182.
I actually called the BC and complained- I finally got sent to someone that claimed that studies were done and there was too many cars on east Lee and too few cars leaving on Perry. I am sure that is true but they do not take into account the fans leaving the stadium. We are stopped due to fans and then it backs up so bad that when it finally clears the traffic ahead is stopped for more fans down the road. I am doing the unassigned lot and park a half a block over behind Burger King where they turn cars back onto E Lee.

Parking in front of the physical plant on Russell street is very good for getting out.

FYI - leaving after a Thursday night game is always horrific. Most folks don't hang around and postgame tailgate much after a Thursday night game. So with everybody leaving at roughly the same time, its just going to be a nightmare.

I have a pass in Lot 17 and it is probably one of the worst lots to get out of due to having to wait on Lot 11 and all the lower lotsto get out. Lot 17 has one way in and one way out and you get caught in a line inside of Lot 17 and then can only go one way while waiting on Lot 11 to empty. I either have to leave the game a little early to beat the traffic to get out or hang around for a while depending on the time and day of the game.

I would say the easiest Lot to get out of is probably Lot 3 and the Public Pay Lot across the street from the Chi O sorority house which I still think should be a BDC only pay lot to be used as weather permits. You can get in and out of those lots in no time and be on your way without having the traffic jam of Lot 9, 13, 11 and 17 all trying to get out in the same direction. I also think Lot 10 and Lot 24are probably pretty easy to get out of and jump back onto Hwy 12 or Hwy 82.</p>

We're in 36 next to the Sanderson. Easy in, OK to get out, but would better if we could turn left and exit to 182 instead of going the long way around.
From 36, you have the lake and a decent view of the Dawgzillatron if some stay behind at the tailgate for the game.
