I have been critical of him, but the crowd chanting TOMMY, TOMMY brought tears to my eyes.
Yeah, maybe start Tommy for the first series of the Maryland game since it's senior day, but them rest him for the rest of the game and get him ready for Iowa.
No argument. I pledge not to gripe about TA ever again on this board. He went above and beyond today.
Amazing! Ran that last touchdown and then his fellow players had to carry him off the field...what a warrior! In the last 2 weeks that guy has been thru the wringer for the Huskers.
Yea me too,this is Tommy's team he only has 3 more games to play in a Nebraska uniform anyway.
Sad he's not a team captain. He deserves that.
Huge play and effort on the last TD. Great fake. The carrying off the field also reminded me of the Scott Sterling videos. Poor Tommy has really taken a beating. So hope he can finish out his career more on the field than off.
How much do you think it helped that he sat out of practice this week. Maybe got a different perspective, and rested his body? Seems like the same recipe is required for this week. I would consider starting Fyfe, and putting Tommy in if things aren't going well.
