Anyone got a good guess on the game time for Homecoming? I know we'll know Monday but trying to plan a reunion. Doubt we'll be a 2:30 game so what's the leave now under the SEC network?

Possibly mid-afternoon SEC Network game

Here is the schedule for that weekend and my tv predictions :

UF @ Vandy ....11 AM
UGA @ UK .....630PM SEC Network
TAMU @ Aub ....6PM ESPN2
Bama @ LSU.....CBS
Pres @ TSUN.....6PM ESPNU
Tenn-Martin at State....3PM SEC Network

I don't see State being in a 11 AM game the rest of the year (especially if they're still undefeated). UF and Vandy are both having off years and with it being at Vandy, that definitely puts the odds in favor of a 11 AM time slot. If LSU is still in the rankings after this weekend, CBS will be all over Bama-LSU (that's the only SEC matchup that has two ranked teams in it), although I could see it swapping to a ESPN channel.

Although I think it would be bad press for the #1 team to be playing on a mostly regional network, but stranger things have happened.

Needless to say, State plays mid-afternoon or a night game that week.

Thanks guys.

11 am would destroy our plans. 3pm would be fairly doable but 6pm would be perfect. Guess we'll know Monday.

This is a CBS doubleheader Saturday as well ... CBS has games at 2:30 and 7 p.m.

Under the last contract, no other league game could be played at 7 p.m. opposite the CBS window

I don't know if that rule was altered by the creation of the SEC Network or not

I would say 80 pct chance for 11 a.m. on SEC Network or one of the ESPN'S, 18 percent chance at 2:30 p.m. on SEC Network and 2 percent chance at night (obviously none if that rule is still in effect)

CBS no longer has exclusive time slots and in fact, will always have an SECN game to compete with. No restrictions on when games can be on one of the other ESPN networks either.

This is their other DH Saturday? That's the weakest slate of games since last weekend. Bama @ LSU could be good, but aTm @ Auburn will be all Auburn, the 2 MS schools play 1-AA teams, and the SECE lineup consists of Georgia demolishing Kentucky and the SECE dumpster fire bowl (UF @ Vandy).
