I wanted to know form people around the state, who are some of the best underclassmen that you've seen so far this season?
Hunter lived in the Lynchburg area when his dad coached at JF and Glass. I remember watching him dominate kids in little league football year in and year out. I knew then that he was going to be a heckuva a football player when he got older. I'm glad to hear that he is doing well at LB.The Rice kid from Lord Botetourt is a freshman rb. Listed at 6'0 200. Does a great job for his age.
Wow. I never knew the connection! I'm assuming Coach Don Rice? He looked like a very patient runner that allowed his blocks to develop.Hunter lived in the Lynchburg area when his dad coached at JF and Glass. Yep, small world huh?! Hunter is Don's youngest son. He has another son (Trey) that's in the eleventh grade. Trey is the soccer star of the family and was kicking for his middle school football team when they were in Lynchburg but, I'm not sure if Trey is still playing football.Wow. If I'm not mistaken, Trey was handling the kickoff dutys. I was wondering if they were related.Yep, small world huh?! Hunter is Don's youngest son.
