Va Tech +2.5 v Boise State

The game is in D.C. It will essentially be a home game for the Hokies. No way in hell Boise goes on the road and wins this game against what will more than likely be the best team in the ACC.

What am I missing here?

I actually had this game starred, and i happen to be listening on the radio one day and a handicapper was being interviewed and he said he really liked this game.

this game - look at their schedule. they win this game the go 13-0. BSU has said since the spring this game istheir season and this is the game that defines their season. Win and its BCS buster - lose and it's 12-1 in the Sugar Bowl against #5 Florida
Best play is to stay away from this one.

Of Course next year they open with MIGHTY Ole Miss in Oxford... So that is surely a loss.

and they will be playing a home game essentially. I just think this line should be the other way around. I'll take Va Tech getting points against Boise all day long especially since the game is in D.C. However, if Boise does go there and win this game, they deserve to play for the National Championship should they run the table. Unfortunately for them, I just don't see that happening.

the fact that Boise has like 18-19 starters returning from last years team that was pretty damn good...they are pretty much ranked in the top 5 by everybody

Can they win it? Don't know. I think it will be a great game. One thing is for sure- with the offseason to get ready, they will outsmart VaTech. Will it be enough? Don't know

Va Tech has 13-14 starters coming back too if I'm not mistaken.

I'll probably wind up staying away from this game, it just struck me as odd that Boise was favored in the game. I think being the underdog in their own back yard will serve as extra motivation for the Hokies as well.

supposedly has a backfield that rivals Bama's for tops in the nation. They will shirley try to keep pounding them in the heat to wear them down...

That didn't turn out so well for them. When's the last time the ACC's had a top 5 team at the end of the season?
