The name dropping of discussions w/ other coaches, & the laundry list of other stuff from time outs, to punts, to chalanging the fan base, why does this have to last another year ?

If there is 30,000 + season ticket holders, & we fire Croom, & the next day I get a letter from the Athletic Dep't asking for $ 100.00 to afford the buyouts, I am overnight Fedex'ing $ 500.00

Reading his quote about burning the redshirt, not worrying about 4 years from now, & "I talked to Nick Saben"........this has become painful to watch & be associated w/. Like Joe Thiesman breaking his leg painful.

There is absolutely no indication that we can do better next year, & a change at OC is not a long term solution. There are recruiting issues, player development issues, & I think most important of all, there are big issues w/ the coaching staff, across the board, not being qualified to coach at this level.

Clean house & start over, enough is enough

This could be Byrne's defining moment......if he does it next year, he is a year to late, if he does it this year, he establishes a winning attitude in the dep't, & establishes himself (beyond the Cohen hire).

And most of the **** ND caught was over his record, not his race. People were pissed they didn't do it "the right way" and give him four years.

is 0-7 and hasn't had a winning record his entire time there. Croom is one year removed from a bowl win and the best record for MSU in 8 years, black or white coach. If last year MSU and Croom had started 0-7 in his fourth year like Willingham has done in his fourth year, I have a feeling he would have been "over the coals" as you say as well.

Last years anomaly is the reason he might not be fired, not the color of his skin.
