Had my Rebel co-worker come by to give me a ration about them winning the West. I made a couple of 'off-hand' comments about Bianco which led to me doing some looking back at the last couple of years.
I do think that Cohen had a bigger hill to climb and he seems to be making progress. In the past 3 completed seasons we have been to 3 regionals in a row, 2 SRs, winning one and making the CWS.
Meanwhile, Bianco continues to win bunches of games, has a much better SEC win % but tails off in the post season. Since Cohen arrived, OM has been to 4 Regionals in the those 5 years but only one SR, in 2009, when they lost the final game to Virginia on an error.
Thus, Bianco has a better Win %, better SEC Win % but Cohen has a better SECT Win %, Regional Win % and SR Win % ... when it COUNTS.
Anyway, if you're interested ...
