Polk cared more about fighting the NCAA than he cared about MSU baseball. We should have let him quit in 1993 & never looked back.

I didn’t realize how bad that span was. He’s 46-56 overall vs us. Which includes a 5-13 start and a 9-26 current run.

So what’s that… 32-17 run from 2004-2015 spanning 5 years of Polk and 7 years of Cohen. Cohen started 11-16 against them it looks like before finishing 14-17.

It’s also hilarious how one of our worst teams ever, 2009, took 2 out of 3 in Oxford against probably his best team. 2018 would’ve been similar but we got to the final 4 while they choked in the regional against Tennessee Tech still I remember thinking we would get swept by them that season
