I'm kinda siding with ellobo on this one. Things change, but no reason you can't hold on to/incorporate as many of these traditions as you can with the changes. I do think it's one of the cooler aspects of the BiG. Someday these traditions will be more important to us.......or at least to our grandchildren. :p

About the big 12 expansion, it will be interesting to see what they do with the GOR. One theory that I've heard is that they add 2-4 teams but not extend the GOR. This would indicate a money grab by the remaining members before blowing apart the conference when the GOR expires. The big 12 TV contract has a provision that increases the total payout on scale as teams are added. So the per team amount is the same as opposed to being divided up by more teams. The new schools would get a smaller share of the new money in exchange for being in a big boy conference with added exposure, etc. Then they would have a nucleus for a new conference after texas, oklahoma and kansas leave it.

I think this story is more interesting than what the big 12 is doing. Is she still hot?
The wonderful thing about having all your social interactions online (as the interaction I mentioned above was) is who you are corresponding with can look like whatever you want. In this case she hasn't aged a day and is still hot.

BTW, when I see huskerbux makes a post, with a screen name like that I picture you looking like either Fabio or Donald Trump.

wow, some people seem to like arguing for argument's sake. The Michigan guy has real points. The Huskers will likely be viewed as interlopers for another decade or two becasue of everything he said, and every counter argument posed. Heck, Penn State is considered still a step-sibling after 25 years. Despite this, I for one am personally glad Nebraska was adopted, or married into the B1G.
