The oddsmakers list the first 4 teams on WVU's Big 12 schedule as the mostly likely teams to battle it out for the title: TCU, Baylor, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

The schedule-maker must have been laughing his *** off at WVU when he did that.

If WVU goes 4-0 against those juggernauts, buy your tickets to the national playoffs. If . ...

Meanwhile, let's go up against Georgia Southern, Liberty and Maryland as, comparatively speaking, cupcakes compared to the first four opponents on WVU's conference schedule.

Brutal! Dr. Frankstein make out WVU's conference schedule?

I want to see the team improve as the year goes on. At this point I would be ok with 1-3 in those games if we win the other 8.

One thing's for sure: Unless those early teams unexpectedly turn out to be among the worst in the conference, another late-season fade this year would answer that particular question once and for all.
