Kansas--11 (new HC 1st season)
KSU--10
Oklahoma--11 (HC Change)
OK State--7
TCU--11 (HC Change)
Texas --13 (New HC 1st season)
Texas Tech--3
WVU--15

Texas has a new HC as does Kansas, TCU and Oklahoma, HC either left/fired this year), likely factoring into player moves there.

Stedman Bailey made it pretty clear recently that there is a big disconnect between players and coaches here. I thought his recent interview was pretty telling. HCNB is a clown and shouldn't even be allowed to sniff the locker room floor. He is a small time small school coach at best. Players here dont respect him and WVU football is losing its luster more than ever in my lifetime. I cant believe we are stuck with this douche after Shayne extended him.

I agree, WVU football is dying under Neal Brown and also cannot believe he was extended--it makes no sense whatsoever. He still had years left and no one was looking for a 5 win coach with the worst Oline, rushing and terrible receiving stats.

The portal makes things worse in terms of it's less fun to watch guys just because they're wearing a WVU uniform than it is guys that are WVU guys because they've been in the program for several years.

But in terms of whether a certain number players portal-ing out of WVU (or any school) is bad, you can't tell by the numbers alone and instead all that matters is the net effect of one year to the next of the guys that portal-out and the guys that portal-in. IOW, we'll know how WVU did re. recruiting and portal-ing when next season is actually played. The whole team could portal-out or nobody could portal-out but regardless, WVU will play next season and will do how it does and that's what matters.
