Would be huge for them to go down to San Antonio and get a win, though I'm not sure I will happen. Either way, it is nice to see the front office act like they have some sort of an idea what they are doing. They have done a good job Putting this team together, and sit only a game back of the 6th seed

Heisley is trying to get to the playoffs this year and its obvious. Creating some excitement about this team and franchise is a must. The pressure will be on them to sign Gasol in the offseason because at the moment there are no centers on the roster that will be under contract for next year. I really hope they can get to a 6 seed and maybe avoid San Antonio.

.... And resigning ZBO, Gasol, and Battier.

Heisley is obviously pushing for a playoff spot this year, and without any major injuries they should make it. They have done a teat job strengthening the bench this season

Finally Heisley is making smart decisions. Hopefully he'll keep his nose out of the draft this year. I thinkseeing his man Thabeet flop, and the bad pub he got this summer arguing over $300,000 for Xavier Henry's rookie contract has opened his eyes.</p>

The past few drafts for the Grizzlies have been horrific. I would hope he would learn to let Wallace do his job and stop trying to be Jerry Jones. The only knock I have in the trade talks was the one they were too late doing. Mayo for Josh McRoberts and a pick? Are you kidding me?
