I think this will be Whiteville biggest test thus far. But I've learned never count Pack out. Also Red Springs always has a let down game in conf. Play. Will this be the game? RS got heck of running game,2 big good backs. Pack has I think best defensive co ordinator in conf. So let it roll guys. Your thoughts?

Strick,I do too but they will have to stop one of the best running games I've seen since Mike Brill was at South Robeson,you remember those teams I know. But Pack has plenty of speed
I do remember those teams coached by Brill. They were great, with Leach and i think his name was Forman but not sure. I went and saw them take James Kennan apart in the playoffs. They were the best running team i ever saw. I know RS has a heck of a running game, but i love the way coach Scott has the defence playing with everyone swarming to the ball. Whenever someone makes a tackle,they are 4,5,or6 right there to help out. this is going to be a heck of a game. There has been some good games between these two teams over the years. I think for this game,you can throw out the records and look for some good old fashion hard nose football. My kind of football for a old fashion man.
You are right. I know the tradition Whiteville has,my son played on couple good teams and your son did too. Something tells me Pack might win big. Red Springs not played a quick physical team on defense like packs. But Pack can't have turn overs and win. Should be great game at Legion stadium. Good luck to PACK. U r right about gaining yards.Fairmont second an third team backs were average 5 yards a carry.Pound an Pound .Control the clock .But that sounds good.Whiteville offense on different level.Third round for sure come playoff time
Pack off. will score my friend. I been watching alot of game film on RS. They do as I have said have a heck of running game. But Matt Scott Def. coordinator has seen this before. Only team to beat Whiteville had a good passing game. Pack probably have to play with 7 in box to stop the run. Yes Strick,if that would have been early score would shurely been different. Packs defense is solid,will they have a test early on,yes they will. RS has a good ground game. This game will tell the coaches where their programs are at this point. Only other team that ran ball consistent on pack was Mountain Heritage couple years ago. But different head coach now. You are right. They pounded the ball all night to the strong side all night and our defence would not shift down to the strong side. I hope it will be different this time. If they don't it could be a long night. Talked with my grandson who plays and he said that coach Scott has worked on some different defenses for this game. I guest we will see. I also think the offence has also worked on some different plays to.

Red Springs 28 Whiteville13 You cant win a game against a good team having 6 turnovers to none. The QB #4 killed the pack with his running and passing when he needed to. The Pack defence played pretty good most of the game. Held them to 1 score in 2nd half.

No I can't believe that but I knew they were good just thought Pack could handle them. I said they had running game good as Brill had at S R those few years. Wonder if they go big A Ar small A? Hope they get home field in 2A
