Cal is having them do it slowly 1 at a time. He wants to drag it out to make it look like he is bleeding UK dry.
Made fun of the mark pope hire and said the season was gonna go badly for Kentucky basically
What exactly does Cal do to get them to the NBA? Besides recruit and land really talented kids who would be pros wherever they played. Do you see something i don’t in his style of play, development of players that i’m missing?
**** Ashton Hagans. Dude was a complete headcase at UK. Flashing money, getting into fistfights in the locker room. It's sad too because if the dude was mentally strong and sound. He would be a decent NBA bench player.

Great question!? This is one of the biggest delusions CCC has that he can magically get them to the league better than other coaches when there is not one damn bit of difference. He just recruited them better and used our school as the farm
Hagans STUNK IT UP more times than not!!! He is the VERY REASON we lost to Auburn in the 2019 Elite 8!!! That little quick Guard for them went by him NUMEROUS times and either scored, got fouled or found an open shooter. Then on offense he couldn't score at the rim against defenders and turned it over a TON!!!
Then the next season, he was video'd with all that CASH and was suspended. But Cal loved to say that the 2020 team was the best in the country. We lost to FREAKIN Evansville in Rupp!!!

I love the guy and his first game to me was one of the highlights of the season. He averaged 20 minutes a game and shot 34% from three. Not exactly a great percentage.
If folks don't think we had players come here to play for Rupp, Pitino, and even Tubby as well they are delusional.
Even some that have come for the name on the front of the Jersey did so for reasons other than the greater glory of the Big Blue Nation just as some join the service for the benefits.
People do things for all kinds of reasons but still have left it all on the floor for us.
Hell, our new coach likely came in no small part because of Pitino but he is true blue.
We got people on here that would turn away guys like Delk, Wall, Mashburn, Sky, AD, KAT and you name them over the decades in some weird snit masquerading as circling the wagons.
We would sure be way lighter on banners with this hyper clannish nonsense.

I really liked watching Z play for part of last season and I hope he will see what's out there and at least give Pope a conversation about continuing with UK.
Big-Z did not have an alpha personality, but seemed to be a shy, awkward, lacking confidence and maybe immature 19-year old, who saw/sees Cal n staff as "father-figures" due to being so far away from home and maybe easyily manipulated due to circumstances.....
I think BBN respected Z and his potential abilities WAY MORE than the ex UK staff did or does!!!!
I think if Bradshaw or UGO had shown any type of improvement with their performances on the court before Z got eligible, Big-Z would have only been an afterthought to the UK staff, logging minutes with Joey!!!
#3 Bradshaw was/is a misevaluated 1st year BUST and UGO RARELY did anything positive other than block shots!!!
But Coach Pope will find a way to fill up a roster of players who will work hard, be successful and thankful for the name on the front of their jerseys...........

If he wants to suffer being played outta position all year next year more power to him, idk what result of last year would make any of our guys be like well time to double up. These guys could be part of a new era here instead their tucking tail and running. Mentally soft the lot of them in my humble opinion but good luck

I'm already about sick of some of the clown Cal players and their stupid takes. There's been 4 other coaches that have won championships in the previous 61 years before Cal. It's why we are the biggest name in college basketball history. It's why we have the all time wins record (barely hanging on thanks to Cal). It's why Cal chose to come here. This job makes coaches great. Not a single coach won a title before coming here.
Kentucky had it before you, during you, and will have it after you're gone. So stop with the doom and gloom nonsense and pull your heads out of your a$$e$ and get onboard. Cal will be gone in a few years and Kenntucky will keep on trucking. Twenty years from now, you will be remembered for playing for UK by UK fans. No one will remember outside of our fan base what coach you played for. I'll be surprised if Cal does a thing worthy of remembrance at Arkansas.

Remember who gave you the big ovation when you got into the game the first time and how you fed off of that and had a great start to your career. Remember how Cal wants you stuck in the paint with your back to the basket. Coach Pope will let you play on the perimeter where you will excel. This is the best place for you and hopefully you realize it and you will be a star next year.

Why wouldn't he question it. We all did 2 days ago until most decided not to question the great know it all Mitch Barnhart. I don't understand how a single person can make such an important decision by himself. No matter now all anyone can do is hope for the best but hard to be mad at the people that expect mediocre.
If Burks goes to Arkansas he's going to rot on the bench behind the higher-ranked freshmen just like he did this season.
