They had a nice thread laughing at our "meltdown" earlier.. but I think most of us held back because we knew we sucked.. I think they thought they were good and just lost to Vandy..

Granted they will still beat us but that's not the point..

Most of us here already knew we were a bad team. Nafoom had delusions of grandeur and that hurts worse. I still say Ole Miss is a bowl team.

Before the Vandy loss and the back to back bad weekends from Snead, I thought they would win 7 games.

They will lose in the swamp next weekend. (2-3)
The South Carolina game in Oxford is a toss up. I'll give the nod now to Spurrier. (2-4)
They will lose at Bama. (2-5)
They will win the game in Arkansas. (3-5)
They will lose at home to Auburn. (3-6)
They will take care of La Monroe. (4-6)
They will lose in Baton Rouge. (4-7)
UM will roll MSU. (5-7)

The meltdowns each Saturday on here are getting less and less severe. I guess we are getting used to the fact that our season is going downhill.

And it looks like a lot of things are depending on the UM/South Carolina game. Honestly I think UM has a good chance at winning

i think they'll beat Carolina, but agree with the rest. 6-6, i guess that gets them a bowl.

Is anyone here truly shocked by the outcome of today's game? I suppose the fact that our defense sucked royally is a shocker. And our offense managed to score a point. Other than that, no big shocks and certainly no meltdown.

But after the Auburn game it's not something I would consider a shocker. They gave it their all in that game and our offense gave nothing (combo of bad play and Croom's idiotic playcalling). So giving up a lot to Ga Tech isn't too surprising - but 400 something rushing yards is a lot more than I expected.

There is a decent chance we could go 1-11 this year, but we'll probably still pull a couple of wins out of the schedule, just enough for one more year of Croom (unless Byrne forces him to get rid of some coaches and he refuses to).
