No excuses. Need the win to try to get to 6. MSU has issues as we know, almost akin to Huskers last year. And we know how that turned out.

Again, no excuses. Find a way. At home.

Play to win the game as one disgraced coach once said.

It is an important game if Rutgers wants to go bowling. I'm sure the guys know this. There should be a big crowd to help, it has to be loud. It will not be an easy game to win.

As someone remarked in another thread this is the biggest game in GS 2.0.
It would be a big mistake for us as fans to think that Sparty is going to show up as a chaotic mess. It's been a couple of weeks now since everything's hit the fan plus they had a bye so they have two weeks to prepare.
On top of that is the fact that D'Antonio is with the team as an adviser and he's not going to let things go down the drain.
Their kids are going to come out on fire because they think that they are better then we are and should win.
This is going to be a very, very tough game which we could easily lose. I think that it's going to be a one score either way. I hope we blow them out of SHI but I don't see that happening.
If we don't win this game we don't go bowling IMHO.

Rutgers should win this home game as they are favored and probably has the better team on paper

But if Rutgers lose this game, then…

Season comes down to the next two games. Lose one and we stay home AGAIN for the holidays.

There have been times in Rutgers football past when the team has come out and won an important game. We have also did the reverse several times. Which one is going to happen Saturday? I will always try to see the way forward. This is a game we can’t let slip away.

Dantonio is the f*head coach that had his Cinci DBs play man on our great WRs in 2006 and repeatedly tackle them rather than let them catch a long ball. All so he could load up against the run. And it worked. Dantonio should get embarrassed this Saturday but I just know he will have a plan.

He can have a plan as he should but it depends on whether or not we on Saturday we will have the type of team who can counter that ?
