too many talking heads. One hour before a game and 20 minutes at halftime, all of it is based on "what if"s, possibilities, and just basically educated guessing... just play the game... I can make my own judgements...

The worst is spending time talking to a player about more of the "what if"s... let's see what happens on the field and I'll draw my own conclusions...

Shut up JB, Dan, Coach, Boomer, Shannon, Curt, Terry, Howie, Michael, and Jimmie --- JUST PLAY THE DAMN GAME!!!

Whew, I needed that...

What I like most about NFL on TV is halftime is only about 10 minutes.

What I hate most is that the time from a score to the next offensive play is almost as long.

I enjoy a medium-rare steak with L&P, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. The Jack Daniel's marinades are a little too overpowering for my taste.

My favorite cut is a good ribeye, but a new york strip is a cheaper alternative that is just about as good.

I'm old enough to remember the stunt NBC pulled when they did a game with no announcers. That too was horrible.

The biggest problem with televised football is what it does for the experience in the stadium for the fan.

I watch football games with the volume off. If something comes up on the screen that looks like it needs explaining I will turn it back on. Then off again when it's settled. I can't stand the constant yammering about their opinions.

If you're going with the New York Strip why not go ahead and just get the T-Bone? I love the meat around the bone as it keeps that nice moist texture.

With that being said, a bone in Ribeye is my favorite cut.

Which is why I only watch football on TV on my DVR. I can easily watch a game in 2-1/2 hours.

This! DVR is an amazing invention. Any game I'm watching I will always record during it so I can skip thru the commercials. The nfl commercial breaks are so 17ing annoying.

And you can watch some stuff in 1x fast forward, and still know what's going on. I fast forward through timeouts, huddles, and in basketball stuff like free throws, etc. I'm always at least 15 minutes behind during games. Much easier to watch that way.

Yep, between pregame shows and talk radio, football is over analyzed. But the problem with TV football is the commercials. Between every possession, timeout.......anywhere they can fit a commercial. It is even worse watching in person too. As it is not near as easy to go to the frig during a break. I think I saw the dude with the red hat on the field as much as our offense during the aTm game.

If you're going to go with a t-bone, why not just go with a porterhouse? The filet part of the cut is bigger.
