Over "Dak's image being used to advertise apparel" according to Bilas.

What Bilas is claiming is silly. Any picture the university puts out of players in apparel could be advertising if you go by what Bilas is saying. He's being stupid.

Bolas is on this crusade against the NCAA. He's like Don Quijote fighting windmills. Looks like he's resorting to twisting facts and reaching for stuff to try to make his point that the NCAA is evil and players should get paid.

17 Bilas.

He says "Mississippi State uses Dak Prescott's name, likeness to sell apparel." Except that nothing in the images is for sale. He also says "criminal". Except that any "violation" around whatever the hell he's trying to insinuate would not be even remotely criminal.

Beyond any of that, the irony of an ESPN employee making a comment about generating $$$ off of players is THICK.

I ain't gonna let it wreck my day.

He was a terrible lawyer. He couldn't hack it so he ran back to the only thing he knew, basketball. Stick to it Jay.

Jay needs to quit picking on State and question the NCAA instead.

Why choose this instance? By his definition, an "ad promoting a product" occurs every time a football player wearing a uniform with an Adidas, Nike, UnderArmour, etc. label steps on a field or ends up in a University publishing. This is not new. Grow a pair and go to the root of your issue - it's not Mississippi State.

I quit following Bilas on twitter bc this is something he does constantly. Sometimes the argument makes sense other times not. But that's what lawyers do, bend things for their gain.
