I really thought that was pretty cool. Despite what I may think of him as a presidential figure, I've always thought he seemed like a cool dude.

Obama: Well, we’ve got this pretty good point guard on the Bulls as well. So he might not have gotten as much PT as he did.

But look, it’s a great story. And what’s interesting is the fact that somehow folks were missing it in practice. I mean, that’s what’s interesting. Because you got to assume that during scrimmages he was running that pick-and-roll pretty well. And it is a terrific story. He seems like a wonderful young man. And, look, it elevates this great sport all around the world. It can't hurt ratings for basketball in China.

His parents, Gie-Ming and Shirley Lin, emigrated from Taiwan to the United States in the mid-1970s.[7][8] They are dual nationals of both Taiwan and the U.S.[9] Lin's paternal family comes from Beidou, Changhua in Taiwan

it's actually pretty accurate. Even though he'sTaiwanesehe has a pretty big fan following in China currently and mainly any other person of Oriental decent. I see what you're saying though.

...since that was the only topic he was discussing that I give a crap about.

It's sad when the president of the United States has more insight into college football than any given president of an American university.

Whether Taiwan is part of China is open to interpretation for sure. If you want some light reading on the subject just wiki, Taiwan/China.

China still claims Taiwan as its territory right? Also, for many years the United States only held diplomatic relations with "China" (Taiwan, or Little China), and not with the PROC. Taiwan is about as Chinese as it gets, and the real China is going ape **** over Lin.

W showed up at Yankee stadium after 9/11 and went from the rubber and threw right down pipe and looked like a man doing it.

I came away with the impression he doesn't know a lot of the details of the college football championship. Between Ummmms, He mentioned the Coaches poll a couple times as if that alone decides the champion.
