Sounds like Bird has made a call and they are staying in-house.
He coordinated a hell of a defense over the years and now it seems he will get a chance to be the HC.
If the rumors are true, the Skyhawks should be fun to watch under Coach Bland.

I agree they are in good hands, but disagree about Bland being a Bedwell guy. He is a Bird guy. Bland played at / graduated from Bird, then coached there almost a decade before Bedwell arrived.

He’s a 100% Bird guy but him, Bedwell and Nicely built something really special at Bird.
