I can't get over all the posts assigning blame for this season on Bo. I am not a Bo fan, and agree with his dismissal... But not with the vitriol of the many here. That being said this dingleberry of a season! To blame it on Bo haunting us is insane. He can't sabatoge us from the grave! He's gone. And with our players, and fortune it doesn't take a genius to beat Illinois and Purdue. This staff is brneath Bo and his dumbass Yboys, and if that's not plainly deviled the... Well you're and ignoramoits. Fire eichhorst, fire Riley. Burn it down start from scratch. Total ***!

IF you can't see the deficiencies in the linebackers, DEs and CBs that Bo and his staff left for Riley, there's no hope for you. We had little shot at defensive success with ONE linebacker or DE injury let alone the multiple ones we've had.

I get that we are thin at several positions on defense and expected growing pains this year. Even with the injuries though, there is no excuse for being 3-6. If we were even .500, I'd be unhappy but not pissed. Pelini needed to go, but he is not the reason we're at a .333 winning percentage. We've lost to Illinois and Purdue on our way there. Illinois and Purdue

And Notre Dame is losing to Temple and Texas lost 24-0 to Iowa State. We're screwed on defense and we started a walk on QB that threw 4 picks. Get over it.

I'll just be quiet tonight and let you speak for me. Exactly.

No, I won't get over it. This is Nebraska. We shouldn't be 3-6, and we shouldn't be losing to teams like Illinois and Purdue on a consistent basis. I like Mike Riley as a person, I really think he's a good guy. But at 3-6 and the teams we've lost to, I really don't think he's the man for the job. I will be OVERJOYED if he turns things around, but I haven't seen much to make me that will happen.

Just because Texas and Notre Dame sucked doesn't mean I will be OK with us sucking. Notre Dame beat Temple in the end (and Temple was 7-0 and ranked 21 so I'm not sure why you bring that up). Texas is probably a better comparison, but still, why does them sucking make it OK for us to.

I'm not calling for Mike Riley to be fired, but good lord, am I not allowed to be pissed about our season? I remember people talking about Bo needing to be fired, and if you didn't want him to go or were on the fence then you were settling for mediocrity. Now all of the sudden, it's ok to be content with a 3-6 record, and if you're pissed you need to "get over it."

I am in NO WAY happy with 3-6. On the other hand a logical person has to recognize what has gone in to that record and it isn't even remotely all on the coaches. Could they have maybe changed the outcome of one of the last second losses? Sure, but our roster problems put us in those situations to begin with. Jimmies and Joes. We HAVE to recruit better then see what happens.

No, you can't. Most of the posters here are in heaven because Bo is gone, but they can still blame him for even more losses now.

Right, I understand that we weren't going to be great going into this season. I would be "content" with being .500 right now. I think even with the injuries we've had this season, and we've had a crapload, we have the talent that we should be at least 5-4 right now.

In all honesty, I think a big part of the reason I've been as emotional about it as I have is that Husker Football is one of the biggest things I had with my dad. After him passing away, Husker football went to crap too. It's been a rough year as it is, and not having Husker football to look forward to (I still watch whenever I can, but I just can't get as emotionally invested anymore) hasn't helped. Seeing it in person at the Illinois game just made it even more difficult. So, I apologize if I've pissed anyone off. Maybe I am taking our Huskers' woes too personally.

I can sorta see what you're trying to say, but somehow, I dunno, it's coming out like this comic.
