Talk about getting out of a jam. From based loaded no outs.
Valincus pitched himself into a heck of a jam. Then pitched right out of it. Lot of pitches. Looks like he’s very inconsistent today. But his good stuff is pretty good.
I’m too lazy to check stats but was Milewski struggling to hit or struggling behind the plate? Chone has played and now Jackson Owen with 2 straight starts.
Who the 17 waved Frei home on a soft bloop single to left?
No kidding. I’d have someone’s hide for that…he wasn’t even to third yet when the OF caught the ball.

On a more positive note, I sure thought our 1B got pulled off the bag on that last review
I think they upheld their last challenged call because they decided overturning a 4th one was a bridge too far. Simply trying to save face.
Walk off 2run home run by Bevis to win 10-0 in 8. I think this team is going to hit a lot of home runs this year. Power all the way through the order & on the bench.
And right on cue, Bevis run rules them with a 2 run bomb in the 8th. 10-0 final.
I realize that this team’s going to have some ups and downs this year, but man does this group has some ball players on all fronts
