to say during the year about the SEC. Now he's got what he wished for, one of the SEC's very best. I am thinking Bama is pretty angry too. I think OU is going to get dealt with tonight.

I know that Baylor spread last night was heavy and looked foolish after the game. Bama is waaay better than Baylor though. I suspect Bama is healthy again, mainly Yeldon should be full strength again. Baylor beat OU, and so did Texas. handily.

this was my most lopsided game pick of bowl season. I think Bama is going to make bigger fools of them than Notre Dame last year. Anyone see it going another way?

Blew up in his face.

I think it's going to motivate Alabama. They're already pissed they're not playing for the natty- I don't think this is going to be a Utah game.

Now Bob Stoops takes the Big12 Champion into a game to match up with an SEC team that couldn't even win their division. So surely the Big12 champ will easily beat an also-ran SEC team incapable of winning a 7-team division. Oklahoma by 21. (sarcasm of course)

Forgot to add, Stoops this week when asked about those comments, (paraphrasing) said he was referring to the "bottom half" of the SEC being overrated...he went onto say Bama is not the bottom half. I suppose he is talking about us amongst others.

Yeldon runs for 200 plus. Bama is going to pound them into oblivion. CJ Moseley may kill somebody. Nicky has had tons of time to prepare and watch film. You know how good that defense is when they have plenty of time to prepare for a particular opponent.

I don't think Stoops has anything to apologize for...

Nor should Alabama be upset about anything he said, although I wouldn't be surprised if they were tyring to use it for motivation anyway.

Stoops made his comments in the offseason. Last year, the SEC was unusually top heavy, With 6 highly ranked teams, and 8 mediocre to poor teams. None of the bottom 8 SEC teams pulled off an upset of the top 6 teams last year. Auburn, Arkansas and Tennessee were each suffering one of their worst seasons in decades. Kentucky was truly horrible as well. State, Vandy, UMiss and Mizzou all would have lost to OU last year, by a lot.

So, sure, while I think the bottom end of the SEC is a lot better than the bottom end of most conferences, last year was particularly bad.

Another thing that Stoops was upset about, and rightfully so, I believe, is the way the media perceives individual conference games. When OU and Texas light up the scoreboard for 40 points each, everyone says the defenses in the Big 12 suck. When A&M puts up those types of points on SEC teams, its just because Manziel is so good. When Georgia and LSU fight to a 44-41 finish, no one wanted to admit their defenses sucked and instead claimed the offenses of those teams must be unstoppable.

I think it's going to be ugly. Big game bob is gonna wish he hadnuh.

Edit: OU is playing with a reshuffled OL. This fact coupled with their QB issues spells quick work for Bama's D. 34-10 tahd.

As long as Bama didn't get their feelings hurt by not playing for the NC and getting relegated to a little ole BCS bowl, they should kill Oklahoma. So lets hope it doesn't turn out like the Utah game a few years ago. I don't think Alabama will take OU lightly, but do they have the motivation to play. That's the big question in my mind.

What's going to happen to Stoops and OU tonight is illegal in most states and against the Geneva Convention. I hate Bama but it will be fun to watch tonight just because of who OU fans think they are.

I don't often pull for Bama, but I hope they pound Stoops in the ground. I have never liked that cocky prick.

Chokejob Bob should have kept his pie hole shut. After being outcoached by Gus, Lord Saban will be out for blood tonight. The Updykes will make it ugly early

Smuley, what's your radio voice like? I could see you as the new incarnation of Lenard's losers.

The pachyderms from Tuscaloosa will trample Bob Stoop's circled wagons & defilement their women...Lenard's loser-Oklahoma in a blow out.

Nice call, everybody.
This has been way more entertaining than most other "blowouts".

And I REALLY didn't see this one coming, either. I mean Oklahoma was a 15 point underdog.

You're right- Bama looked terrible, and credit to Stoops for absolutely outcoaching Saban.

Well I didn't see that coming

Nice call, everybody.

Alabama got whipped up front. Got behind and that took away the run threat. Their defense was not good, and they turned it over at cricial times. Oklahoma played well. I can't really stand either of them. Bama tears are extra juicy tonight. Guess AU wasn't a fluke.

Kind of glad I got it wrong. Can't stand Stoops, but good seeing Bama get cut down. Would love to see more sliding for them next year.
