Boise St. is feeling a lot better right now.

Badgers lose, OU down 17 and may end up losing. Bama and LSU play each other in a few weeks, and OK St. plays OU in a few weeks with the possibility of OU knocking the Cowboys from the unbeatens. Stanford still has to play Oregon, and Clemson still has Ga Tech and SC to play. Anyone think an undefeated Boise gets in over an undefeated Clemson and Stanford, or a 1 loss OU, OK St, LSU, or Bama? This could end up being a very crazy BCS scenario, with Boise being there at the end with a bunch of 1 loss teams.

I doubt even 1 loss teams if OU or OSU only have 1 loss. Every team has to have 1 loss damn near for Boise to be considered

Could this happen? Assuming Clemson and Ok State have one loss? The Nov 5th game would have to be close.

having to win your conference championship to be in the BCS Title Game- no.

I think it's going to end up being Bama/LSU winner vs Stanford personally.

I remember Georgia making a funk about not playing in the BCS in 07 when LSU went and they didn't play in the SECCG. I remember they kept saying winning your conference wasn't a prerequisite.

national championship game. Maybe thatwill finally shut that **** up for good. If Boyze played an SEC schedule, they'd be damn lucky to make the Liberty bowl.

and THIS POST along with the other millions of "I'm 99.9% sure Boise would get crushed if they played in the SEC and I'd really love to shut them up for good" college football fans in America is EXACTLY why I think Boise should be the temporary 14th SEC member till the 14th is named. Don't wanna travel to Boise? Fine I'm sure Boise would be thrilled just at the opportunity to prove their worth and would accommodate with all road games or fan-friendly travel site games.

after they face Florida, LSU and Bama back to back to back before we played them as opposed to them facing them Toledo, Tulsa and Nevada back to back to back before we faced them.

between two undefeateds in order for there to be a chance that two schools from the same conference end up in the NC game. I may be wrong, but I think I read something along those lines a while back

Make them a permanent member as far as I'm concerned, under the condition that they get rid of the Smurf field.

Boise is not better than a 1 loss Bama or LSU, and they are not better than a 1 loss OU or OK St. Theymight couldbeat Clemson, not sure about Stanford and Wisconsin. I want a playoff, and I hope Boise plays a team like Bama or LSU in the title game and gets blasted. We would see a serious playoff proposal probably the day after the title game was played.

what if they won? Since the possibility is at least there... It'd be really curious to see everyone's reactions if that were to happen. I know I wouldn't be too thrilled.

to be in the national title game and there never has been. In fact, there's a very real chance that the national title game could be a Bama-LSU rematch.
