Boise: got the ball with ~2:00 and no timeouts. Had to score a TD. Dink, dink, dink.. under control...sidelines, out of bounds, TD.

VT: got the ball with ~1:00 and one timeout. Only needed to get within FG range to at least survive. FREAK OUT.. PANIC.. throw it deep every time and pray!

Thought Beamer came off looking bad at the end of the game.

when was the last time you heard of them having a punt blocked? Special Teams is supposed to be their thing.

They actually had two timeouts when they got the ball back. I couldn't figure out why they chucked it deep on first down. They only had to pick up about 50 or so yards to get in FG range. With over a minute to go & two timeouts, they had an eternity. VT coaching sucked balls at the end of that game.

Now, the rest of the college football world has to suffer a whole season of Herbie knob-gobbling Kellen Moore.

So I wonder if that was the primary receiver or if the QB just panicked. They missed the one play on 3rd down late with the WR wide open and the QB short-hopped him.

Announcers said QB was made WR didn't come back to the ball, but who knows if it was bad route or bad throw. Regardless he was wide open and that would have moved it to the Boise 35 or so with plenty of time left.

Give credit to BSU's QB though - he made the plays

A good coach, but will never really contend for a national title. He'll always get outcoached in the big games. VA Tech is a consistently good program, but they've been one of the most consistently overrated teams in the past decade.
