Haven't bumped into you in a while. How's it been?

I have no opinion one way or the other myself. I can't control what the blue hairs and students at the stadium do. If the fans are pissed let it be known. He was hyped as all hell before the season and he has gave more points up than the defense the last two games.

Been pretty good, just trying to keep a toddler alive so I haven't had as much time to post on Rivals.

All I know is that fans boo, Nebraska isn't the only team to have boo birds.

Nebraska's Base, Lifetime, Real, True Fans Do Not Boo For No Reason. They are intelligent and expect certain things that are indeed the right thing to do. I in fact was talking sternly out loud to the tv (and my wife) after the last int and saying "That Is Enough Now Coach, You Need To Sit Him Now!". The way I see it, At some point you are being unfair to the backup for keeping a player in the game who is holding the entire team back by keeping him in there. Even if it is only for a little while. You give him a break and you see if the back up wants to steal the job.

I think any time he tries to throw the ball over 15 yards, Riley should kick him in the nuts. So much better on the short stuff.

Absolutely agree. Langsdorf should get rid of every pattern 12-25 yards especially if the throw is sideways.

Lee is deadly on this quick 9-10 low ball bullets over the middle. I'd let him bomb away once in awhile also as if those get intercepted, not as much damage.

I think what we are all so upset about is the way this team was built up to be something it is clearly not. I know you can not truly know until live action happens, but they had a bunch of scrimmages and surely some of this stuck out then and to keep up the coaches speak to all of us, is most definitely not what Nebraska fans want. We want the damn truth. I personally like when a coach is not happy with practices every so often or heck just come out and say they are not doing well at all. They are in good spirits and trying to get there every day, but it's just not where we need to be yet. I feel, Thats The Honesty We Deserved From Day One.
But then again, I am the type of guy who downplays greatness so it can be even greater. Never liked the people who build stuff up to something so great that it can hardly ever be, so everyone just ends up disappointed. Thats where we are at right now.
Still hopeful because I have to be here win or lose, but I can't say I am excited at all. Only the recruiting class excites me right now. One thing we have right now, but not sure it will last.
Feels like either the players didn't work hard enough or the coaches didn't coach well enough during the off season. Maybe both..
Ugh.... sorry for the rant
just care too much and frustrated.

Which player or coach complained?

Go to 1:40 into the interview. Nothing controversial in his comments...supporting his teammate.

Actually, I don't have a problem with Gates' comments, either. He actually said that "the real NU fans starting cheering on the 17 play drive", so I think he was pointing at the fans that were booing, not the whole fan base.

I keep telling people the fans were not booing Lee but were booing Riley and his decision to keep Lee in. I see a difference, do you think they were booing Lee or Rileys decision to keep Lee in?
I was booing in my head -because he has been struggling but I would NEVER boo a college kid. I have 3 boys of my own and I would not like it if people were booing my kid.

Yeah, if you are booing 18-22 year old kids you have issues. And also, who are the true fans? I always love to hear about there are true fans. Oh the "true" fans, who are just bigger fans than anyone....
