I enjoyed the game itself. While my wife, from Boston, had a rooting interest I did not. But, I like good defenses.
As for the half-time show, I missed it putting my toddler to bed. Did I linger and take a cat nap because I was tired of the BS surrounding it? Of course.

I thought the game was great, a defensive masterclass by the Seahawks. I appreciate great defense. As for the halftime show....I didn't watch......either of them. My only complaint about halftime is it was way too long.

It's classic virtue signaling. They think coming to the defense of this stuff makes them some bastion of "love and tolerance." That white savior complex makes them incapable of seeing that being complicit with lawless immigration is turning this country into a garbage dump of crime, destitution, and ESPECIALLY more division and a hatred of the US. The joke will be on EVERYONE in the end when America won't be able to take care of anyone, let alone its own citizens. A lot of people see that and why they're critical of Bad Bunny and his attitude towards immigration. This lack of wanting to assimilate to American values and that we should assimilate to THEIR values is twisting things up.
Nobody is against legal and controlled immigration, but just letting anyone in, no questions asked is a death sentence and a huge reason why the country is on life support.

I must’ve missed the part of the halftime show where guys were dry humping each other and all the “anti American homo bs”. It was just the run of the mill halftime show, except it was in Spanish. It was actually tamer than many in the past. No overtly sexual dancing, nobody grabbed their crotch, nobody was on a stripper pole. The women weren't half naked. A man and a woman even got married. It was definitely not worth all the controversy it got.

Feels like the game is in the background now. There's just so much other stuff around it trying to catch new viewers' eyes that it seems like the game pops in for a little bit of football every now and then. I mean it's not exactly difficult to get a middle-aged white dude to watch the last football game of the season, so they cater to so many other demographics. I have zero problem with that at all, but it does water the game down to just another thing that happens during a big event. At least broadcast wise it does.
Big booty latinas was the best part of the show.

Through a series of unfortunate events, I had to delay my traditional halftime hot tub to pick up snack reinforcements at the Cantina attached to our hotel. I got there as the show was starting, and the whole Hispanic staff was gathered around the big screens with obvious excitement. I was really happy for them. It was fun to see.
One waitress saw me and quickly handed me our order, which was ready to go.
Safe to say the NFL got some serious good will out of its halftime show.

Just 2 seconds of two dudes grinding and kissing outside a pickup truck in the cornfield. The "gayfest" that was referred to earlier. Add the 90 seconds of latina butts being shook in front of the cam and then you have a show fit for elemetary students.
People acting like Kid Rock didn't just spend 4 years raging about how he hated the country. If things had gone a little differently 15 months ago, he would have ratcheted it up even more. There's no justification for any high horse from the Trump fanboys.
