To be fair, the Rufus deal allowed for a package deal that got 4 players D-1 scholarships that wouldn't have otherwise. I am not 100% how much Bobby authored that for the sake of TSUN rather than for the other 2 players. It was Rufus, Joe Gunn and a DL that ended up transferring out to Juco and then coming to MSU. And a LB that never made it back to D-1 after leaving for Juco.

No way those other 2 guys would have gotten a D-1 scholarship if not for the package deal. And yes, Bobby was thrilled that TSUN went for the package deal though. I speak on Amory only, nothing with the MC situation.

Damn shame that no one ever taught Rufus how to block. He could have played for a long time in the NFL. He COULD block, just never was taught what the mindset was and the why you do this versus that. He could just line up and if you pointed out someone to block, he could whip them.
