Bost seems to have totally turned it around.

For all the crap he deservedly got for last year, he deserves some credit for the way he has come back this season. He has really matured alot from last year. His toughness and effort have almost made the rest of this season watchable.

Jeez I hope he comes back next year to mentor Deville Smith and make up for costing us a bunch of games with his absence this season.

I saw the Bost that argued with the coach on the sideline, yelled at Jarvis for daring to question a bad shot by Dee, pouted when things did not go his way, and ultimately madethe stupid decision to test the NBA waters.

From a performance standpoint, yes he is picking up where he left off but from a maturity standpoint he is a totally different player.

The first 2 seasons of him playing consisted of ****** shot selection, scrunched up faces at coaches and teammates, and more ****** shot selection.

He had talent and when the gods decided to give him clarity he would put together good games with good decision making. The gods must have been pretty busy the last couple years because they didn't get to him very often.

But this year he has actually been 3/4 of the way smart with his decisions. And at least it seems more of his pull up and jack an early 3 shots are actually going in this year.

I haven't seen him get called for a charge or take it to the hole out of control or jack up a bunch of bad shots either.

and his 3 point% is actually lower through the first6 games than the entire season last year so youre wrong.

He wasnt expected to be a leader as a soph w jarvis and randy on the floor... so he got upset every now and then? who cares at least he was playing w emotion thats what jarvis and randy were there for to put the sophmore in his place when heneeded it. never bothered me and i never once questioned how hard he was playingand always felt good w the ball in his hands, so no i really dont know which bost you guys were watching last year.

sure he's taken another step in the right direction but thatsto be expected from an upperclassmen w no realsr leaders

edit:typo

shocking you should be a detective

im not arguing that he isnt a better leader this year but thats not exactly news to me...i just missed the bost was a negative influence on the team last year memo. the majority of the games i remember he was the one playing harder than anybody and starting sparks that would get us back into games, but i guess the few pouty faces he made over the season rubbed you the wrong way...

look at Ravern.

On a serious note, his turnovers per game are down, A/T is way up, overall shooting percentage is up, and he is providing the spark that we had to rely on Phil for last year but he isn't yelling at the coach while doing it.

That is all you had to do was give me that first and I wouldn't have gone all pig latin on the board. So 17 me or what ever the 17 that means. Ha! That being typed, I've read posts here that don't use pig latin or 17 or nuthin but the real thing, so I thought my post would fly. Delete it if necessary but no need to delete me. I will do better. Not a 17in problem.</p>

I said it seems more of his pull up and jack an early 3 shots are going in, and you respond with his overall 3pt shooting %?

I was referring to his poor decision deep shooting(early in the shot clock, etc) and you come back with overall 3pt shooting %.

Goodness.

Hopefully my phrasing the error of your ways in two different ways will help you understand what I said.
If you still don't understand, ask someone around you.

it gets our top four players going. And their inability to make plays is really the reason that we've lost the games we have. We all know how they have struggled and maybe this is just what the doctor ordered. Of course, it'll be nice to get some points from the next four in future games: Benock, Bryant, Lewis, even Riek. But for right now it's good to have Ravern, Kodi, Dee, and Sidney having some success and playing together. I know this thread started as being about Bost, but that topic has about played out.

Glad you're back where you belong Hammun: posting about basketball. Please stay on the bus.

More strong critical thinking for you tonight. Man, that was some good high school freshman debate class **** right there.

His attitude seems to have changed. And yes, I do like seeing players with good attitudes. He'll, I will even take improved attitudes, they don't even have to be good yet, just improved.

I didn't like his immaturity the last two seasons. I didn't like his poor decision making on or off the court. I didn't like how it looked like he was ticked at everyone around him as if he was the only one who was tuned in. As much as I question Stans, I didn't like how Boston would flat out ignore Stans.
But if you want to simplify all that and rephrase that simplification into something that makes my comment look dumb, have at it I guess.
At least you seem to understand the difference between a certain type of shot from deep and overall shooting from the same area.

** in the subject line means "no message." Someone made the joke about it meaning sarcasm, and somehow people took it seriously.
