We are much improved from last year. We had a legitimate shot to be 6-1 right now. If you can’t see that you are too far sunk into the poor old whooped down MSU mentality you are beyond redemption. Given how bad we were last year the progress is amazing. We were BAD last year. I still say we finish 4-8, but this is a much improved team. it’s like climbing mountains, when you start below sea level even a modest hill is a long climb.

I think you are right, even though it's hard to see it that way after the way things have transpired in some losses. Problem is, roster will turnover due to transfers and it doesn't mean squat. Next year (and every year) will be like starting from scratch.

Texas looked pitiful today and somehow won. If we can't beat them at home we won't beat Arkansas on the road and we'll be sitting at 4-8. That would be a gut shot after starting 4-0.
