Bottom line with Brassell and Singleton is this

I am not scared to play against them, should they decide to play for the bears b/c they won't have a QB that will get the ball to them (maybe by the time they are seniors), nor will they be in an offense worth a **** to get the ball to them (unless they hire a good offensive coach after they run nutt off). On the other hand, I would love to have them on our side b/c of their playmaking ability. We can win without them, but we would be a better team with them and better equipped to play bama, lsu, etc.</p>

We want them. If we get them, great. If we don't, that sucks, but it's a great job of recruiting by Nutt. But we've still got good players committed and have beaten the bears on countless other targets. If we get them, we will have pretty much dominated the state as much as it can be done. If we don't, we're probably 50-50. The end.

He has the frame to do it, and I'm sure Balis can do it, but he's very thin right now.

But I have seen them both play multiple times and my opinion based on what I saw is that they're both overrated. I thought that after the 2009 season, and I didn't see anything in 2010 that made me change that opinion. I'm not rationalizing anything. If they do both sign with us, I still think they won't be as good as advertised. I don't think they'll be complete busts, but I don't think they'll be 1st team All-SEC either.

At 6' 4'', he's the tallest WR we have by about 2 inches. Put 10 or 15 more pounds of muscle on him since he's listed as 195, and he could be a legit deep threat next year that can compete for a ball against any CB. He doesn't have blazing speed, but we need someone who can stretch the field and get people out of the box. Morrow could do that next year. Brassell could do that too, but he would be more of a speed threat downfield. Either way, both give us a dimension we don't have, and that's either a tall downfield threat in Morrow, or a medium height speed threat in Brassell.

Well said here.... Yes, life will move on if we don't get them but both teams really want them. Both are very fast and can stretch the field which both us and OM are in desperate need of.

We have several really good interior recievers Bump, Heavens, Clark....not sure about OM
OM has their big guy in Melvin Smith (I think that's his name....the 6'7 guy), we're hopefully getting one in Morrow and I think Chris Smith can play outside as well

Bottom line is we both needBrassell and Tobias and I bet we split them....Brassellto OM and we get Tobias
