and I overreacted to your inital post. Apologies. No, I'm not a huge Beatles fan as I'm sure you've gathered. But I do acknowledge their their importance and all the influence they have had over the decades on countless performers and styles of music and music creation. I actually do have a rather vast knowledge and understanding of music and appreciate music on many, many different levels and in many different styles. It's probably because I do consider myself as such that I've always had a sore spot when people would be rather put off that I have always been kind of luke-warm to the Beattles. It's just a generational thing with me. They were a couple before me, so I never grew to "love" them.
But again. To your original point, yes, it would be stupid to call the Beatles overrated.</p>
