This may have been discussed already, so forgive me if it has.

I received my seat assigments for the bowl game and was somewhat disappointed. I did the Bulldog Club early reservation thing back in November.
I was assigned seats in section 221 row e. This is in the end zone over close to the MSU side, pretty high up. I probably could have just gone to Gatorbowl.com and gotten better seats.

I don't donate a lot of money but thought the seats would have been a little better....

Has anyone else had this experience? i was just curious if we sold so many seats that a Bulldog Club assigment was that bad......

End zone seats were the ones allotted to both teams by the Gator Bowl. We've known this for quite a while which is why a lot of people have opted to get seats through StubHub. It seems most people are fine with the end zone seats though because you'll be in the middle of the State section as opposed to being intermingled with State, Michigan, and unbiased fans in other sections.

To expand, this is the same for all bowl games and the SEC Championship game. Thy schools get the endzone seats while the bowls sale the good seats along the sidelines. The bowls have to make money to pay the teams to accept their invite.

the best seats are reserved for the corporate big wigs who could give two ***** about who's playing, and the others are sold by the bowls for locals who go every year (I suppose). They always park most of the fans of the actual teams in the end zones. Because they can. That's why the argument about "Team A always sells out of bowl tickets! They sure do travel well!" is crap. What respectable fanbase couldn't pony up for 15K or so tickets (even if they are in the end zone)?
