Bowl ticket prices down across the board. You can really see why

the bowls fight like hell for teams that bring fans. Cotton bowl pretty pricey but that's Jerry
dome. I know Northern IL giving tickets away to students, Iowa State selling their student tickets
at half price. I wonder what break even is for some of these teams?

At some point fans get pissed off on drop off of tickets and ****** locations in stadiums when they
get there.

How many fans we will have in Jville?, my best guess is

around 15- 20K and that is a high estimate I know two years ago the cheapest on stub hub was around $45 and that was in the upper deck. Now you can buy for $3.99. These are sponsors basically giving the tickets away... Total attendance will probably be around the 50K mark....compared to 68K we had at the Michigan game which was greater than the Florida/OSU game last year which was 61K.

The Liberty Bowl ruined getting my tickets through the school. I could've only gotten worst seats if they took my money and didn't give me a ticket. Could've gone through the Liberty Bowl site and bought much better tickets. The Gator and Music City I went through Stub Hub and sat where I wanted.

A lot of the blame lies with the bowls. They give the prime seats to corporate sponsors, then those tickets end up on Stub Hub or some other website. It would be nice if the conferences would negotiate better school seating in their contracts. If the bowls don't want to do this then we'll move our game to another bowl. The 4 big conferences could do something about it if they worked together.

Bowl attendance will more than likely be down across the board due to ****** games and the economy.

Bowl games are by corporates, for corporates. Teams and fans are minions who fill the corporate trough.

Fans shall buy their paltry afterthought seats or they won't be allowed back next time!

Slive should bow up and demand better. He is the one guy in position to demand terms from the corporate bowls.

It's startling how much airline prices have risen since the Gator Bowl two years ago. I'm not going this year solely because it would be WELL over $1,000 for me and my wife to fly out, stay one night, and go to the game.

Right now, cheapest ticket on Southwest is $568 round trip for one person. Ridiculous.

I'm in the same boat. I can't drive 12 hours on Monday, go to the game on Tuesday and drive back 12 hours on Wednesday because I can't miss work on Wednesday. I looked into driving part of the way and taking a plane, but I'm still looking at $900 round trip for 2 people for flight alone.

The Orange Bowl made all their corporates buy two years of Orange Bowl tickets to get a BCS ticket. Bet
they are glad they did that. Orange bowl has sucked several years in a row bad economy or not.
