Tickets are on sale now through the Bulldog Club. However, when you order, they give no indication of where the seats are located. You just order tickets. In '07 Bulldog Club sat in the South Endzone of the Liberty Bowl which sucked! But that's just because I don't like endzone seats!

in this scenario, i don't believe there will be a "State side". Just how many braniac rich people will travel for Rice?

I want to know this before I buy tickets through bdc. It's a shame you can get 10 dollar tickets on stubhub and sit at 50 yard line but if you get them through university you have to pay 50 dollars and get to sit in the end zone

I don't know if we will pack the stadium like we did in '07, but it will definitely be a home game for us.

Rice just hosted the C-USA title game, and it was a USM-esque crowd. Tarps over seats in the end zone, nobody in the upper deck, and sparse in the lower level. The weather wasn't great, sure, but I don't expect these guys to travel well.

In other words, don't worry much about sitting on the "MSU side" or not. I expect 80-90% of the stadium to be decked out in maroon and white.

According to hailstate.com, all seats from MSU allotment are in Sections 116-122

Looking with the seating chart at those sections, the official "MSU section" will extend from the corner of one end zone to the goal line of the other end zone. Basically, about 80-90% of the seats will be between the goal lines, which is a big improvement from '07.

I got mine through the BDC in '07, and they weren't exactly in the end zone, but close. They were in a corner, closer to being sideline than end zone though. On about the -10 yard line. Couldn't see a thing.

All I can remember from '07 was being crammed in like sardines!
