I think he will be solid for us as a JR and SR. Maybe never start, but he could be a solid backup. He has the ability to see over the perimeter D with his height and he has good court vision(see the pass to Augustus down the lane yesterday). But he is too risky right now and tries to force the issue too often. Im hoping that is something that will be cured with maturation and experience in college ball.
reminds me of one of those old guys you play with at a rec center... good defender, descent passer and ball handler, but absolutely ZERO threat to score. Having said that I think he does an ok job running the offense (Don't forget, he's just a freshmens), and plays good defense.
I agree. He's shown flashes this year, and I think he will be a good player for us down the road. He should be improved next year after getting this year under his belt. In a perfect world, he probably would have been redshirted, but since we had no backup PG we were forced to play him. He's done a decent job for the most part, but he has had some rough spots. He certainly raises the blood pressure when he comes in though.
..all I can say is I also wait for his predictable screw-up to occur, but he's improving.
