If UK wins out and Duke loses at North Carolina, we should get the third #1 and Duke the 4th. That's what we need to be in Louisville.

Not sure what will happen if Duke wins the ACC Tournament and we lose in the Championship game of the SEC tourney. Could be that they would take the third #1 and give us the 4th.

If Duke loses at UNC and in the ACC Tourney, expect to see them in Louisville as Kentucky's #2. They can't be in Virginia or UNC's bracket.

I fear that UNC will jump us if they and we both win out. Even though we beat them on a neutral floor convincingly. Then we’d probably be UNCs 2 seed. Wouldn’t that be some ********?

Duke and UNC won't be put on same side of bracket.

If Duke is East then UNC is West.

If Duke is South then UNC is Midwest.

Don't think they can put UNC and UVA in same region. Think there's a rule requiring four teams or less from same conference not being in same regions on the 1 and 2 line.

If UK is a 1 seed and Duke and UVA are as well then if the Cats are behind those two, Cats will be in Midwest.

By Saturday night it will be clear whether or not Cats can be a 1 seed in Louisville.

They can be on the same side of the bracket. Just cant be in the same region if both are top 4 seeds.

If UNC wins out that mean Duke prob drops off the 1 line or least behind UK. I seriously doubt 3 ACC teams and Gonzaga are the 1's.

You know, Virginia could still lose a game or two and change the whole mix. As I recall, the ACC tournament ends on Saturday which means even the final game will conceivably be included in the final bracket.

Your bracketing rules are outdated. It's no longer pre-destiny as to which regions play one another. In the old days, the tournament brackets were set before the teams were announced (e.g. east region plays winner of west region). Now, they pair the region with the #1 overall seed with the region with the #4 overall seed.

So, it's possible that Duke and UNC could play in the final four if they are deemed to be the #2 and #3 overall seeds (or the #1 and #4).
