Bracky, Redmond, Mullen, Keenum, Hud... In that order

I was presented a very interesting scenario yesterday... See if you can follow:

  • If Bracky is not a complete ***** and actually stands up for our university,
  • Redmond plays versus Auburn and we win (this is a stretch, but go with it),
  • Mullen's job is secure for the next 12 months, whether you like it or not,
  • Keenum is not put in the situation he's in now, i.e. having to play puppet master with Stricklin and make a very controversial and risky proactive coaching change... that Stricklin doesn't have the sack to execute.
  • And that risky move is amicably parting ways with Dan and hiring Hud.

Sooooo, to summarize, all of the die hard Hud supporters owe Bracky a pat on the back.

Keenum has been proactive in the athletic department ever since he became president. This has nothing to do with Stricklin's manhood, either because hiring Ray took more balls than any of us will understand.

So Bracky is Mullen's Achilles Heel? Or Keenum is playing puppet master? both sub-plots are good story lines.

So Keenum is put in this situation in your scenario because he is Bracky's direct boss and sets the tone for how compliance inthe AD is handled. Doesn't that mean they should thank Keenum for making it hard on himself?
