I can see it being Florida since they have already been to Tuscalosa this year.</p>

They have instant storyline. The old ball coach returning to Florida... this time SC has the upper hand. Spurrier bringing a nationally ranked Carolina team back in to Gainsville with the expectation of taking them all the way to Atlanta. It's easy.

How many have they had in Tuscaloosa already?

We are MState.

ESPN prefers to do Gameday from the site of a ESPN/ABC broadcast, which generally decreases the likelihood of an SEC game being the host site, though they still find times to visit SEC sites.

Isn't that the week that GameDay typically goes to one of the service schools? Don't they do that once a year?

Then it would definitely be a toss up. If Bama loses to LSU, then you can book it they won't be at Alabama to watch two teams play for 3rd place in the West, when they could see two teams play for 1st in the East, but if Bama beats LSU and jumps into the Top 5, that might be enough.

It wouldn't matter. CBS was the network the Alabama/South Carolina game was on, and Gameday was still there. They went to BYU/TCU last year if I'm not mistaken, and if my memory serves me correctly that game wasn't even nationally televised. I think it was on the Mtn. or Versus.

The Steve Spurrier storyline is a good one, but don't forget the winner of the game between SC and Florida goes to the SEC Championship (assuming Florida wins this weekend vs. Vandy). And since I don't think Gameday has been at UF this year, I see that as a more probable location.
